NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR COMMENTS & NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON THE LCTA 2025 PROGRAM OF PROJECTS
The Luzerne County Transportation Authority will hold a public hearing in the LCTA’s Meeting Room at 300 South Pennsylvania Ave., Wilkes-Barre, PA on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 4 p.m. At this meeting, a proposal for a Program of Projects (POP) and a request for financial assistance under the Federal Transportation Act of 1964, as amended, will be considered. Prior to the hearing, the POP will be available for review at the above address from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday and online at www.lctabus.com.
The 30-day public comment period for the POP is open from June 2, 2025 until July 2, 2025. This funding project is for: ADA Non-Fixed Route Paratransit, Computer Hardware, Computer Software, Fare Equipment, Preventive Maintenance, Safety and Security. The term of the project is July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026 with funds secured from FTA Section(s) 5307. Activity will take place entirely within the LCTA service area. The projects listed here constitute the final Program of Projects unless otherwise amended.
