LCTA Will Implement Minor Schedule Changes to Better Serve Riders and Improve Overall Service Effective June 23, 2025
Minor map changes on the following routes:
#2 Mohegan PA via Hudson: the outbound bus will use East Northampton St. instead of East South Street; the inbound bus will use River to Jackson to Washington instead of South Street.
#6 Dallas / Misericordia: the outbound bus will use East Northampton Street instead of East South Street.
#10 Wyoming Valley Mall: the outbound bus from the Wilkes-Barre VA to Timber Ridge will use Bear Creek Boulevard instead of East End Blvd.
#12 West Side Mall / Plymouth: the inbound bus will use Ferry to Beade Street to Carolina to Main to Washington instead of using Vine Street in Plymouth.
Minor timepoint changes on the following routes:
#7 Luzerne Shopping Center / Wilkes-Barre Walmart: weekday timepoints adjusted
#8 Kingston/ Luzerne/ Swoyersville: weekday and Saturday timepoints adjusted
#13 Hanover Industrial Park: the inbound pick-up at Ashley Park n’ Ride stop will be two minutes earlier.
#17 Scranton / VA Medical Center: times are adjusted on the second last trip of the weekday; the bus will leave the Transit Center at 1:40 p.m. and return at 4:19 p.m.
