identification must be shown to operate and is valid only during
these hours:
Weekdays: All hours except the
following:
- 7:00 am to 7:59 am
- 4:30 PM to 5:29 pm
Weekends and Holidays: all

Senior Citizen Information
SENIORS 65 AND
OLDER CAN NOW RIDE LCTA BUSES ALL DAY, EVERY DAY, FOR FREE, DURING REGULARLY SCHEDULED
SERVICE HOURS.
The LCTA requires that all
seniors interested in riding LCTA buses for free acquire the State Transit ID
card. To obtain a State Transit ID card a brief application must be filled out.
The Luzerne County Transportation Authority has applications that must be filled
out appropriately, with the required proof of age, and we will issue you a card
immediately. You can stop at the LCTA Administrative office at 315 Northampton
Street, Kingston, and LCTA’s friendly staff will assist you with the
application.

These tickets save you money and are
convenient.
Tickets can be
purchased at the following locations:
Children
Children accompanied by an adult
will be carried free if they are no taller than the height of the
fare box.
Children taller than the fare box
must pay regular fare.
Transfer Rules
Ask operator for transfer immediately upon boarding
inbound trip and deposit exact fee.
Transfers are for use only in continuous direction
- FROM POINT OF ORIGIN TO POINT OF DESTINATION.
Transfers are not good for a return trip on the
same route, or on any other route returning to your point of
origin.
Transfers are good only for the time period shown
on transfer.
